Cleanfit Open Nylon Mesh, 10 yd Length, 1-1/2 in Width, 180 Grit, Aluminum Oxide/Silicon Carbide Abrasive

Designed to provide an alternative to aluminum oxide open nylon mesh. We have opened up the mesh to reduce loading and replaced aluminum oxide with silicon carbide. Silicon carbide mesh is sharper and tends to cut faster and produce finer scratch patterns on most surfaces. Black open mesh can be used on a wide variety of surfaces and materials. These include ferrous and non-ferrous metals, ceramics, plastics, fiberglass, plywood and others. Applications include deburring, cleaning, scouring, blending, polishing, deflashing plaster, dulling laminates, removing oxides and rust, scuffing plastic pipe prior to adhesion and more 100% waterproof.
