The Zurn® 12-35XL is a precision-engineered ½-inch atmospheric vacuum breaker (AVB) designed to safeguard potable water systems against backsiphonage in high-hazard, non-continuous pressure applications. Built with a durable bronze body and internal lightweight plastic float, it ensures dependable performance and long service life. This lead-free device meets ASSE 1001 and NSF/ANSI 372 standards, is rated for up to 125 psi and 180 °F, and features ½″ FNPT inlet and outlet connections. For proper operation, it must be installed at least 6 inches above the highest downstream outlet and never subjected to continuous pressure.
