Reflectix duct insulation consists of two-layers of highly reflective film, reflectivity that are bonded to two-tough layers of polyethylene. Two-inner layers of insulating bubbles resist conductive heat flow while a center layer of polyethylene gives Reflectix high reliability and strength. The product has a tape running the length of the roll for easy identification by code officials. The tape identifies the manufacturer and ASTM testing 3A reflectix duct insulation. A2 ASTM E84 E280A2 class a 2F class 1 E2 80 A2 ASTM C411 Passed 2E. The product will provide an R 42E2 2CR 52E6 or R 6 2E0 2C depending on the installation.
