The UltraWedge™ wedge anchor from Brighton‑Best’s U.S. Anchor® line is a torque-controlled, mechanical expansion anchor made of Type 304 stainless steel. The anchor consists of a partially threaded stud with a flared mandrel, expansion clip, hex nut, and flat washer. Installed into a predrilled hole in concrete, tightening the nut causes the clip to expand uniformly against the hole walls, delivering strong resistance to both tension and shear forces. This anchor is ICC‑ES certified for use in cracked and uncracked concrete and conforms to structural and seismic building code requirements. The stainless steel construction provides long-term corrosion resistance, combining durability with reliability for indoor and outdoor installations.
